What Happens if there is an EMERGENCY?

Very rarely during labor, birth, and the immediate postpartum period do true emergencies occur. Midwives are trained to handle these types of emergencies. Some can be managed at home with the equipment & medications we carry, while others many require transport to the nearest hospital with obstetrical and perinatal care via EMS.

Who Comes to the birth?

There is always a Midwife and a trained birth assistant attending to a client during labor and birth.
